Madison Elle Beer, a Long Island, New York resident, was a music lover and experimenter since she was 10 years old. In 2012, Madison Elle Beer posted videos of herself singing cover songs of well-known songs. Justin Bieber, a pop idol, found her rendition of Etta's "At Last" within a couple of months, and shared the song with his more than 25 million followers on Twitter. Following the media attention, she signed a record contract with Island Records and was also offered a management contract by Bieber's manger. The same year, Beer was also cast in a small part in the independent film Louder Than Words, which starred David Duchovny and made its debut at the film festival in 2013. Beer's debut single which was a melismatic and poppy track "Melodies", was released late in 2013. Her debut solo EP As She Pleases in the year of 2018. "Home with You" reached the Top 30 in Norway while the EP made it to half the Billboard 200. Beer also dropped the single "Hurts Like Hell", with Offset in the same year.
