Aisha Tyler is a American actor, TV host, author producer and director. The actress has received recognition by her character, Andrea Marino, in the horror film Ghost Whisperer and for portraying Mother Nature in Santa Clause. She has also been recognized for her work as Lana Kane, the main character of Archer. Tyler's experience as a TV host includes CBS The Talk. She also hosted Ubisoft's E3 media conferences between 2012 through the year 2016. The roles she played in video games are numerous. Tyler was the daughter of Robin Gregory, a teacher as well as James Tyler, a photographer. She went to Dartmouth College. Tyler co-founded the all-female Dartmouth Rockapellas acappella group that created awareness of social issues through music. Tyler has been a regular writer for Jane magazine as well as Glamour. In terms of her personal life, her parents divorced while she was young, and she was raised through her father. She's born of Native American and African American descent which explains her exotic look. Her previous marriage was to lawyer Jeff Tietjens.
